This kitchen started as a secluded space blocked off from the rest of the home with little viewing areas to the exterior. A load bearing interior wall was removed and replaced with a recessed engineered beam to allow the kitchen an open flow into the adjacent family room. The exterior wall was re-framed to allow a wall of windows which lets in much more natural lighting. The kitchen was completed with fully custom cabinets and Carrara Marble countertops.
