For this project the homeowners wanted to better utilize an outdoor patio area by converting it into actual living space. To accomplish this, an exterior wall was removed and replaced with an engineered beam. New exterior walls and a roof was built. The interior was then remodeled and a new fireplace was installed. The end result is an expanded and modernized family room with much more usable space. The before photos show the outdoor patio area prior to the addition.
